Bill has over 30 years of experience in the development, acquisition, management and disposition of real estate throughout the western United States and Asia.
He has concentrated on retail properties since the mid 1990’s through the formation of GMS Realty, LLC (now Terramar Retail Centers). GMS acquired and operated shopping centers throughout the western U.S. in partnership with Morgan Stanley, Principal Financial Group and the Washington State Investment Board.
He serves on the Board of Directors of New America Foundation, Zocalo Public Square, the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Centre for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the University of California at Berkeley and the Advisory Board for the Lusk Center at the University of Southern California, and is a member of ICSC and PREA.
He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a B.A. in History.
